Sally Ride became the first American woman in space, as she left earth's ground with the Space Shuttle crew in 1983. Valentina Tereshkova of the Soviet Union was the very first woman in space in 1963, orbiting the Earth 48 times!!!

Heavy Metal Suicide
In the 80's Ozzy Osbourne and his band Judas Priest were brought to court in the claim they were responsible for suicide attempts by two boys from Nevada: James Vance and Ray Belknap (Belknap died immediately after shooting himself in the face with a sawn-off shotgun; Vance also shot himself but survived). The boys' parents and their legal team claimed that a subliminal message had been included in one of their songs when played backwards. The accusations were eventually dismissed after the band pointed that if you tell someone to play a song backwards and tell him there's a hidden message, it'll sound as though there really is one.

The Berlin Wall
The Berlin wall divided the city of Berlin into East Berlin and West Berlin.
The east side was communist, under Russian control, and the west side was capitalist under joint American, British and French control.
The Russians built the wall to separate Berlin from the West because of the cold war. After 26 years of separation the wall was pulled down on November 9th 1989. The fall of the wall symbolizes the end of the cold war.

One of the most popular cartoon of all times with the famous 4 ninjas Leonardo Rapheal Donatello and Michaelangelo. Started at 1987 and concluded after 10 seasons and 193 episodes. This show is still popular and merchandise of these characters is widely common.
